Sick of looking at gym walls? If you want fitness while admiring beautiful bush scenery then this is the tour for you!
We can adjust the location, difficulty and length of your customised tour to suit the age, fitness and ability of your group. We can traverse gorges, climb hills, scramble over rocks and conquer mountains or we can take the easier paths and walk along formed farm tracks and cattle/roo pads or perhaps you would enjoy a bit of both!
As we walk, let the natural world in Outback Queensland inspire you. Take time to breathe in and enjoy the fresh country air and catch your breath while admiring spectacular views in some of our district’s most stunning natural areas.
Our expert ecological guides will also help take your mind off the hard work involved in exercising by pointing out some hidden wonders and rarely seen native plants and animals along the way. They will most likely also tell you a story or two about the local characters from the region!
Tours leave on demand from Roma, Qld. Age restriction of 18 years and above. All tours are weather-dependent.
What to expect:
Mornings may be cool, but the days can warm up to mid 20’s during winter and late 30’s during summer.
Mobile phone coverage is limited in many areas.
As we will be walking through Australia’s great outdoors, bush toileting will mostly likely be your only option should nature call along the trail.
Moderate to difficult. Tours will involves walks (with various gradients) on unmodified landscapes, with some uneven and rocky ground.
- The tours can be fully catered or you can bring your own food and bedding. The location, tour lengths and difficulty are all variable depending on the workout you require - we will work with your group's contact person to customise your tour to ensure it is a fun and an enjoyable experience, while also giving the body a good work out!
- For extended trips we discuss your preferred accommodation. Options are bush camping, glamping or travelling back to motel style accommodation each night.
- We can also arrange to add in a few optional extras, like a massage to help loosen up those muscles ready for your next day out!
